On completion of the course you will have gained an understanding of the equine muscular system; you will be aware of how and why massage therapy can be beneficial to your horse and you will have learned some basic massage techniques to use. The course will enable you to treat your own horse.

– 44 page presentation including theory, practical aspects and videos

– Introduction to the equine muscular system  (7 of the major muscle groups) including a discussion about possible causes of tension

– What is equine massage and how does the horse benefit? 

– You will be introduced to various massage techniques of which 3 will be taught and practiced  in more detail. 

– You will learn the benefits of stretches and practice these on your own horse

– You will be able to complete hands on practice of your massage routine on your own horse and receive feedback on your videos via email.

How does the course work?

You will receive the e-learning package by email once payment has been received within 12 hours.

The course consists of 3 parts. You will be able to learn, revise and practice the theory and techniques in your own time. At the end of each part you will be asked to complete a short quiz which you will need to return by email. You will also be encouraged to take and email progress videos of the learned techniques.  On completion of all 3 parts and once quizzes and videos have been received and reviewed you will receive your e-certificate by email.
